Sydney: This is Must-Know Dutch Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 23. In this lesson you'll learn expressions you use to give a compliment.
Sydney: For when you want to let someone know you like them or that they did a great job.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
Sydney: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Jacob: wat een baas
Jacob: je bent een toppertje!
Jacob: jij bent echt de max!
Jacob: jij bent er één uit de duizend
Sydney: Jacob, what's our first expression?
Jacob: wat een baas
Sydney: literally meaning "what a boss." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "he's really good at what he does."
